Alfusin Indications
Alfusin is not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.
Alfusin is indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Alfusin Dosage
Alfusin recommended dosage is one 10 mg tablet daily to be taken immediately after the same meal each day. The Alfusin tablets
should not be chewed or crushed.
Alfusin Contraindications
Alfusin should not be used in patients with moderate or severe hepatic insufficiency, (Childs-Pugh categories B and C) since
alfuzosin blood levels are increased in these patients.
Alfusin is contraindicated in patients known to be hypersensitive to alfuzosin hydrochloride or any component of
Alfusin tablets.
Alfusin should not be co-administered with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as:
- Alfuzosin;
- Itraconazole;
- Ketoconazole;
- Ritonavir;
