Dytor Structure

Dytor 5 tablets:
- 5 mg - Torsemide USP;
- 50 mg - Spironolactone IP;

Dytor 10 tablets:
- 10 mg - Torsemide USP;
- 50 mg - Spironolactone IP;

- 20 mg - Torsemide USP;

Dytor Indications

Edema associated with secondary hyperaldosteronism in:
- Congestive heart failure;
- Hypertension with hyperaldosteronism;
- Liver cirrhosis;
- Nephrotic syndrome;

Dytor Dosage

Hypertension
Patients not showing adequate response to DYTOR (torsemide) 10 mg can be shifted to one tablet of Dytor 10 . If adequate response is not obtained, the patient could be shifted to two tablets of Dytor 5 . The dose should not be increased beyond these.

Nephrotic syndrome
The usual initial recommended Dytor dose is two tablets of Dytor 10 . If adequate response is not obtained, the dose can be increased up to four tablets of Dytor 10 . Further, in severe cases of edema, where a greater amount of loop diuretic is desired, the patient could be shifted to four tablets of Dytor 20 .

Congestive heart failure
The usual initial recommended Dytor dose is one tablet of Dytor 10 or two tablets of Dytor 5 . If adequate response is not obtained, the dose can be increased up to four tablets of Dytor 5 or Dytor 10 . Dytor Contraindications

- Acute renal insufficiency;
- Addison`s disease;
- Anuria;
- Hyperkalaemia;
- Hypersensitivity to torsemide sulfonylureas or to spironolactone;
- Nursing mothers;
- Significant impairment of renal excretory function (glomerular filtration rate less than 10 ml/min);
